SWEDISH SALAD – This tasty jarred salad, which I make very often, makes a perfect side dish for autumn and winter 🙂 If you like such salads, please feel free to share this video 🙂
- 1 kg cucumbers
- 4 carrots
- 1 bunch of dill
- 1 cup spirit vinegar OCET SPIRYTUSOWY 10% WSP Społem (you can find more information about this vinegar here: OCET)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 cups water
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 allspice berries
First, prepare the pickling vinegar. Pour water and spirit vinegar Ocet Spirytusowy 10% WSP Społem into a pot, add sugar, salt, allspice berries, bay leaves, and mustard seeds and bring to a boil.
Place the sliced cucumbers and carrots in a bowl, add the dill and mix thoroughly. Put the salad into jars and top up with pickling vinegar.
Pasteurize the jars and place them in the pantry.
