Homemade Mayonnaise

Homemade Mayonnaise – A homemade mayonnaise recipe is simple to make and has much better flavor than store-bought. Also, mayonnaise is the “mother” recipe for a lot of other sauces out there.


Homemade Mayonnaise


  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • ¾ cup of oil

Preparation: Have all ingredients at room temperature. Combine egg yolks, mustard, vinegar, salt, sugar and a little of oil in the container of a blender or food processor and blend all ingredients together. When your mixture is firmly blended, continue blending on slow speed adding the rest of the oil in a tiny stream until completely combined. Mayonnaise is done very fast and easy to make. Transfer your mayonnaise into the jar and store chilled. This recipe makes about 250 ml this delicious mayonnaise.
