PEACH CAKE WITH KEFIR




 

PEACH CAKE WITH KEFIR

  • 1 cup of plain kefir (1 cup = 250ml)
  • 2.5 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 0.5 cup of oil
  • 3 eggs
  • One can of peaches in syrup
  • 1.5 tea spoon of baking powder

Additionally:

  • 2-3 handfuls of sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar
  • Baking dish 23×23 cm




Directions:
All ingredients should be at room temp.
Attention: To make this cake do not use an electric mixer.
I drained the peaches and cut them into small pieces.
Dry ingredients: I mixed together flour, sugar and baking powder.
I also mixed together the wet ingredients: plain kefir, oil and eggs.
I stirred in the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and put it in the baking dish.
On top of the batter I placed the peaches and sprinkled on the sliced almonds.
I preheated the oven to 180C and baked the cake for approximately 45-50 min.
(until the inserted tooth pick comes out clean)
