RING DOUGHNUTS – THE BEST RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 250 g of farmer’s cottage cheese processed in a food processor
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda
  • About 2 & 1/3 cup flour
  • 3 – 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 4 tablespoons of thick sour cream (18%)

Additionally:

  • Oil or lard for frying
  • icing sugar for sprinkling

Preparation: Add all ingredients into the bowl and mix together forming the dough. Transfer you dough onto lightly floured board, press it with your hand and roll to about 1cm thick. Cut the circles with the glass and then cut a smaller one inside with a shot glass. The little insides and outsides you can roll out again and make donuts. Fry in a deep frying pan, in oil heated to about 175 ° C (350° F) for about 2 minutes on each side. Drain on a paper towel. There are 16 – 18 pieces of the recipe.
